fade, graphic not working

I'm using SF Studio-12.0.0.272 (DP3) on windows 7. Process: Fade>Graphic does not work. I select it and the menu disappears but no further dialog appears. Both Process: Fade> In and Process: Fade> Out work as expected. Am I missing something or is the graphic fade broken?
