Forced registering Dolby module in MEP17

Securityman wrote on 8/26/2011, 6:37 PM

I am trying to extract the audio track from a movie I shot. MEP17 requires me register the Dolby codec once before it will allow me t use it for the extraction. When I try to register it tells me that I have already registered that serial number and do not need to do it again...this does not allow me to use the plugin. What the $%&$#@# do I do to get past this??

It might be that you have done this in the past (3 times) and now it shows you reached your limit ... I think that was how it was once explained to me.

You might need to contact Magix customer service about that. They should get you rolling.

Thanks John but it is a new install . I have bitched out Magix with no reply.......no surprise there.

Are you still having this problem?

I did send Magix a tech reply and have yet to hear back...glad I was not working on anything too important. I fired up my MEP16 and worked around the problem...but I am still without the sound extraction capability on my MEP17!
