Great Video, No Audio

I imported my DVD into Movie Edit Pro 16. In edit mode, I have great video and no audio. I have checked all of the obvious things and looked through the settings in the software, but I do not see anything that is not allowing the audio to play. Did I miss a step? The audio plays with the video in other programs, so I know it's not the DVD either.

I have Windows 7 Professional OS, in case that matters.

Please help. I have spent a day and a half they to research it and have not had any luck.

Hi

You have not given enough details about which settings you have however did you have this check box ticked?

Also if you right click the audio track and select Create wave form do you get a flat line or a waveform pattern?

Where did this screenshot come from?

I think I get a flat line when I try to create a wave form.

Hi

The screenshot is the program settings dialogs - press the Y key,  or from the menu File, Settings, Program.

The flat line would indicate that the audio is not being extracted from the video clips.

I was able to get it to generate the waveform now.  I just still cannot hear anything. I have checked everything that I know.
