Green screen picture in front JPG digital camera clip

I have a digital camera clip which I have processed in Xara 9 and saved it to my desktop as a JPG file. then I dragged and dropped it into MMEP 2015 and that is fine.

I also have a green screen picture which I recorded on my ACHD Movie Camera that I want to place in front of the above clip.

Now I want to save these clips not as a movie film but as a digital camera clip back into Xara 9 in some sought of format and be able to upload it as an attachment in an email using gmail.

Is the video camera green screen picture video or a still image?

If a still image then you shoulld be able to achieve what you want in Xara 9

Make a copy of the digital camera file and open it in Xara 9
Add the green screen image (JPG?) as a new layer and use the Erase tool or a Mask to remove the green areas.
Save the image

Using MEP you will end up with a lower resolution image on exporting however it can be done -

Start a new project resolution eg 1920*1080 or whatever resolution the video clip is

Import the video clip to track 1
Import the green screen image to track 2
Apply Chroma key, Green screen effect to the image
Use the Chroma key sliders to adjust the green screen parameters if necessary
Move the timeline cursor to an appropriate point on the timeline
Select File, Export video, Single frame as JPG
Export image
Sharpen and adjust in Xara 9 if required
