HECV codec activation code is incorrect on new PC

I have a new PC running win11 and reinstalled Magix photostory on it. I previously purchased the HEVC upgrade on the old PC but I can’t seem to use that activation code. Error message is “activation code is incorrect”? Maybe I need an updated activation code? I have tried using the Service Centre where you enter an order number but the activation code I get returned is "0" which of course doesn't work. Any clues?

I believe you are correct; a "new" computer requires a "new" activation code.

Try emailing infoservice@magix.net with full details of your original purchase of the code (perhaps include that code) and ask if they can give you a new one.
