How can I get back my edited video?

After I worked for hours on my video, in Movie edit 16 pro HD, I saved it. But when I closed the program it asked me if I want to save the files. I knew I did it before, but I pressed "yes" anyway. Now I'm trying to open it and it shows that the file is empty. I think that it has to do with the last save I did, knowing that it could be an error.

Is there anyway I could get back the video, or did I loss it for good? The only thing I can open is a back up that was created, but it doesn't have the whole edited video.

You will find up to 10 backup files (*.mv_) of your project, created every 10 minutes when you worked with the project. Don't follow the numbering, but check the exact time they were created, (Load backup project > Show Details at Menue) and try the newest first.
