how can i load home made DVDs for editing?

magix movie edit pro 16 HD - will that version allow me to load home made DVDs - then . . . edit, save, and burn to another DVD?

Should be no problem at least with the .VOB files that are the actual movie footage. I don't know if you can import and/or edit the original menu structure. Perhaps others with more experience will add to the discussion?
