HOW can I SPLIT an audio track from the video ? & is this MEP16+ a QUICKTIME based software ?

I can't find the suitable feature in the free download version

what I just tried was LOCK the track one ,then

use ' delete object ' to remove the audio track ( track two ) ,thinking it would be

in the clipboard,but actually not.

I just want to SIMPLY split the audio,just like what I SIMPLY did before

in my Corel VideoStudio PRO x3

Simply select the pair and click on the little broken chain icon to 'un-group' them. Now either can be selected on its own.
