How could I use a photo as a background for my animation

I am able to create a video animation using xtranormal's green screen feature. I would like to overlay my work on a picture, a jpg image, using it as a background. Any tips?

Hi Rick,

place the jpg image on track 1, and the animation on a lower track.

In Magix the view direction is from bottom and up.
