How do I make scrolling title with 2 lines only?

Hi,

In MEP15, I'm trying to make subtitles for a song, that would roll upwards on the bottom. But I want only one or two rows visible at once. I can't use "end credits", nor "scrolling text on right/left", because the resulting objects are too high. I can't use Effects/Size/Position, because that only changes the propotions of the titles and displays all the rows unreadable. I can't crop the titles via Effects/Section/Zoom because this function is aplicable only for video object. Does anyone know what I CAN do :-)?

Thanks a lot!

Petr

Choose the tab Title and General.

Click in the monitor and write in f. i. LiNE1 and LINE2. Then f.i. 10-15 or more Enters, and then LINE 3 and LINE 4. At Animation, click From bottom to top. Try this.

Or make a small Text field with f.i. LINE1 and LINE2, then another Text with LINE3&4, and so on. The speed of movement is edited by stretching or compressing the text with the mouse, or in the Text Editor. You need to experiment a lot, to get the text follow the song.

Addition:

I have MEP 14 and 16/17, but have never seen 15. Thought 15 was like 16 regarding Text editor. In 16 we have no Text editor like older versions. We write our text directly into the monitor (preview screen).

In 14, we access Title Editor with Ctrl+T or "T" at Tools Line, and here you write the text, and then mark the radio button in Movement "from right to left". Adjust the text down with the slider on left side.

I hope you can follow me now.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunatelly, I don't follow any longer than to the first line :-(. What monitor do you mean? Neither do I see any Anymation to set. I only guess that you may use terms from higher versions (MEP15 in my case). From your suggestions I also think i might haven't explaind my case clear enough. What I need is exactly the behavior of end credits titl, only it should run in a low botom strip insted of all over the screen.
