Hi.

A very quick Google search on that filename extension showed various uses (including for AutoCAD) but also mention of it in relation to Canon Power Shot cameras.

According to one post here http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/mvi the actual file is really an .avi.  So, as a first step I would suggest you copy the files to your computer hard drive and then change the file extension from .mvi to .avi and see whether MEP can then import and read them.

Hi,

Can you tell me how can i the file extension from .mvi to .avi?

Thanks

I have a freeware program called Rename master.

http://www.joejoesoft.com/cms/showpage.php

To use this, navigate to the directory where your mviI files are.

Then in the filter box, put *.mvi - NPOTE: you can skip this step if there are only mvi files in the directory.

Hit the replace tab. Check "Replace the extension with" and put .avi there.

Hit ctrl-F6 and there you go.

I just installed the latest version of Rename Master. They changed the interface slightly.

Before you start, hit the "Toggle Script View" button in the lower left corner"

Everything else is the same.
