How to register the MP3 Plug in for SF 6

I'm using Sound Forge 6 on an older XP machine and the MP3 plug in demands to be registered but I can find no place to do that. Anybody have any advice? Thank you!

I'm having the same issue with Sound Forge 7. The rest of program works, but will not let me even play an mp3 without asking me to register the plug in.
