I can not see the movie after recording it from a min DV camera. Can somone help. see below

I have recorded from a mini DV camera as per the tuturial with a unique name. After I stop recording followed by the OK key.

I can not see the captured movie in the lower third screen. nor in the edit mode, but I cab see an MVD and AVI file on my hard drive. I tried doing importwithout muck luck.

help needed please"

Did you try to drag the .MVD-file (or AVI) down to the timeline with the mouse?
