I did not get the extension code via email. How can I get it?

Hello

I downloaded Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus from Magix website, from "free download"-section. I could test the program for 7 days but after that the program said that I can extend the trial to 30 days with an extension code that was sent to me via email. I checked my email and... nothing. I didn't get the code! So I'm just wondering - why I didn't get it and how can I have it now?

Hi

You should have had the email within minutes.

Have you checked your ISP has not dropped the email into your spam box?

Yes I checked my spam box too. What can I do? Is there any other way to get the code?

Edit: And within minutes after what? After downloading the program or what? :O

Hi

I missed a bit off the post - you should have had the email within minutes of registering for the extended trial.

Have you tried re-registering for the extended trial when the dialog box asking you pops up?

Hello

Umm.. Doing what? I'm not sure how to re-register... I just clicked the button that says "continue trial" and after that I clicked "Extend the trial to 30 days" and then the text "Extension code: (this was sent to you via email)" appears.

Aaand what is dialog box? (ahaha I don't know anything...)

Hi

The box where you click 'Extend Trial' is an example of a dialog box some people call it a window..

If I read your description of what you did correctly, you have missed the step where you have to register online before you click 'Extend the trial to 30 days'.

When you start MEP and get the 'Continue trial dialog box, in the bottom left corner (if I remember correctly) there is a link to register online - click this - it will take you to Magix registration site where you put in your details and email address - complete this and you should receive your email with the extension code.

When you have the code then click the 'Extend trial for 30 days' button and enter the extension code you received.

Hi

I'm sorry - I examined the entire dialog box but I did not find any link to register online. I took print screen pictures of all the steps I did (you can make the pics bigger by clicking them...).

Step one: I started the program and dialog box appeared

Step two: I clicked "continue trial"- button

step three: I clicked the "extend the trial for free to 30 days total (internet connection required)" - link

Please, Please help me! I really need to finish my project...

I read a moment ago from magix forum (http://support2.magix.net/boards/magix/index.php?showtopic=49877 I know it's movie edit pro 15 but I think there's the same idea...?) that I should have been registered before the trial ended from the menu help>register online. But now I can't of course do that because the dialog box doesn't let me. How can I register now? I'm desperate!
