Perhaps there is a version of Magix that can import tp0 file?

Hi,

I use in Magix standard title (subtitle 1) in a recent video for a poem reading I adjusted manualy the length and using space bar to adjust speed. This way was little bit long but this work. SRT import must be on the list for featuring because if we work using multi language we need this tool. CC close caption is very useful and YouTube push on this way.

Regards,

Hi Ken,

In VDL 17 you can insert .sub files with the VirtualDub plugin "VobSub". Might work with VDL16 too? If you have .srt subtitles you can convert them first with the small and easy toolTxt2VobSub. I'm not sure whether you'll need to download VirtualDub itself  (just unpacking, but no install needed), you'll have to check that. Otherwise:

1. (In the VirtualDub folder), create a or look for the subfolder "plugins". Here goes all the .vdf's (VirtualDub plugings).

2. Download the plugin "VobSub" from http://www.vobsub.net/ and place the plugin in the plugins folder.

3. Open VDL17, import you movie and select the object.

4. Go to "effects", "extra effects", "plugin manager". Under "advanced", add the search path to the plugins folder where the VobSub is placed. VDL17 will auto update the plugins list.

5. Select the "VobSub" and click "Insert plugin". It will appear in the righ-hand window.

6. Click "Plugin configuration (or settings)", open your .sub document, set the display as you like and click ok till back in the usual VLD17 window.

Export / burn in format desired

Have fun!
