Insert backgound image or video

Is it possible in ME pro 16 to use or insert a background into an existing video? I need to have an image of something in some of my vieo shots. Do I need a green screen to accomplish this. If so how is it done?

Can't seem to find it anywhere in the manual or I'm not using the correct terminology. Very new to this.

Hi,

You shot video using a green or blue screen view on YouTube video How to use green screen to learn technique. As background on track 1 you can use a picture or a movie you place your video made with the green sreen on track 3 ( on the top) and ask to software to the green color becomes transparent.

To do so view in the software:

Effets, Chromakey and select the color you need to become transparent.
