Installation Manager will not run. Can't install SF 18pro update

Just downloaded the version 18pro updater but cannot install it. I get the message that the Magix Installation Manager will not run. Have tried two complete downloads; installed NetFramework 4.8; retsarted, etc. nothing helped. Running Win 10 64; no other problems on machine. Please help.
