Intelligent mouse problem (ALT+@2)

I cannot move all the objects together when I want to insert a new object. I used both ALT+2 and selected the Intelligent Mouse icon. I restarted the CPU and Magix just to be sure. I overlapped all the objects which causes them to "fade" and I can then move all of them at once. I do not want to do that. I want to have sharp cuts between scenes. I moved each object so there is a blank area (black) between each of my short videos and photographs, but when I do and put the timeline above them and select ALT+2 or the Intelligent mouse icon only the object I have the timeline moves.

Hi,

you don't need to restart anything unless the program tells you to, such as changing the video mode. I loaded my pics in MEP 16, but should work for the others, depressed Alt + 2 and when I clicked on a pic, all pics to the right of this one were joined, and could be moved.

A real quick way to join files together is the standard Windows trick Alt+A. This marks all of them, then click on the Group Button (chain with whole links) and you can move the whole thing as you wish. If you don't Group the files, then once they are unmarked, no longer yellow, they will split back into separates.
