ive lost all my movie. there is no bottom bar and it just says EMPTY when i try to edit it

HELP ME

i had a save file of my movie and it was fine but then i wen onto audio cleaning to try an get red of some of the background noise and i pressed ok it said something about ILLEAGLE ACTION and i should restart the program. so i did and when it loaded back up it said i should send a message to magix so i did then it said it had an ato recovery but i knew i diddent need it because i had it saved so i clicked X then i opend my file and it there is no picture on it and where the file name should be displayed it just says EMPTY. there is no timeline bar at the bottem and at least halph of the optiond are not able to use. can someone PLEASE help me get this fixed or at least help me find the button to get the auto recovery it sayed!

Check in the folder where you projects are saved. You should find some auto created backup files named 'yourname_BAK0.MV_', (and BAK1, BAK2 etc) where yourname is the name you gave to save the file.

 

Simply rename, or make a copy and rename, with the '.MVD' (or .MVP' for newer program versions) extension and load. Hopefully this will get you back to close to what you lost. I've no idea what cause your problem.
