Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus crash when opening a screen-captured video.

I screen captured a 9-minute file (the beginner's to web designer on-line video). when i tried to open it, i get the following error window:

"Magix Video deluxe 17 has stopped working"

I can either choose to allow Windows to check online for a solution (which i have several times, but it never provide any response; not even a browser window), or i can restart the program, which doesn't solve anything. I had a 4-minute file that gave the same outcome when i tried to run it. I just purchased the Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus software. Never had an earlier version.

I have a 500gb Toshiba laptop (over 100gb free) with 4gb RAM, running MS Windows7. Not running any other program other than my wireless connection.

PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM...

You will really need to contact support with issue, we will need to run diagnostics on your machine :

I would recommend to use the email option as the diagnostics will need to be emailed to us.
