Movie Edit Pro MX doesn't support 3D

I have Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus HD and it supports 3D importing and editing very well.

Tonight I bought and downloaded Movie Edit Pro MX, thinking it was an upgrade for my existing version. However I find that this new version doesn't support 3D at all.

I *only* use Magix Movie Edit for 3D video composition and creation. For now, v17 still works, but I was disappointed to find the new version didn't support 3D and that this was not stated clearly. Particaulrly as you sent me an email inviting me to buy it and you would know that I am a Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus HD owner.

Please let me know when Movie Edit Pro MX will have a version that supports 3D.

Thanks. :-)

Steve

[Update: I've reviewed the email I was sent by Magix. Nowhere in it is the Plus version mentioned or linked to. I followed the links available and all dealt with the Pro version only. I'm going to buy the Plus version as well and install the Pro version on my daughter's laptop as she doesn't do 3D editing and the Pro version should be ideal for her. I love this software. I don't mind supporting it. But I would have preferred to have bought the correct version in the first place. I'm not happy about the marketing. ]

Was this Movie Edit Pro MX Plus? It might be something only in the advanced versions of Movie Edit Pro... I haven't received anything really yet on MX, but I will dive into it when I get it.

If you don't mind me asking, what Camera are you using for 3D?

Hi

Looking at the features of MX you need the Plus or Premium versions for 3D.  This is clearly stated on the Magix website here (click Product Comparison on the left side)

Thanks, John.  The link you supplied wasn't anywhere to be seen in the email offering me an upgrade to to the MX versio,

I bought v17 Plus HD about 3 weeks ago for US$99. I received an email that appeared to offer me an upgrade and it linked to the Magix site. The link I clicked on did not offer any other version of the software.

It would have been nice had the email contained any infomation about the Plus version or a link to it.

So now I have bought the non-Plus version for UKP59...and the version I actually want is UKP79. I'm reluctant to pay that in addition to the money already spent.

I'll have a look around and see if I can get a refund or a cheap upgrade. But it would have been better had the email to the Plus-version owner offered the Plus-version owner a Plus-version upgrade...instead of a downgrade.

Thanks for your answer.
