Hi

More information needed :-

Is your MEP patched up to the latest version ie v 10.0.11.0 ? If not get patched up as there was a problem with audio going out of sync with NTSC video format.  This is normally shown as the audio getting progressively out of sync with the video - this is linear and predictable as to how far out of sync the audio is.

Have you recreated the frame table for the video clips?

What are the video formats used on the timeline?

John

PS  please avoid use of caps as this is taking a shouting on forum

Thanks for the reply John. I have the latest version you suggested and tried your other suggestions previously. There may be a way around this eventually but too much tweaking and sniping per clip will will probably be required prior to any editing. Mainly using Mp4 clips sync'd to Pal 16:9 25fps. Really like this package and it's interface (best I've seen on the eye) but for now only good for stills editing, real shame.

Hi

mp4 in itself is not a file format it is just a container format, internally the video could be anything.  Use GSpot or MediaInfo to find out what is actually inside the mp4 container.

You may find that the audio stream is at an unusual bitrate which MEP tries to standardise and hence cause sync problems.

Is the sync problem linear for example  at 15 min from the start of the video for example 1 sec late, at 30 min it is 2 sec late and so on or is it variable?
