MVP files compatible with all versions of movie edit pro?

I currently have Move edit pro 15+, I'm thinking about upgrading to MEP17+, all my files I have ( MVP files) can i still use those in the newer version?

As fas as I know there should be no problem. Even projects from MEP 14+ (these are MVD files) can be used though they are usually brought in via 'File' >> 'Manage movies' >> 'Import'. You get a message that the import is OK but that saving will be done with the new MVP format.
