New. How to capture from pc dvd player or screen capture

When i go into " recording source selection" it does not show screen selection, only AVCHD, Audio, Single frame, HDV camera, DV camera and analog. Any ideas how to record from the screen. Thanks

If you have the base version of the program it does not support that function.

If the DVD you are wanting to use is not a commercial or copy protected DVD, you cannot play it and capture using Movie Edit Pro (MEP) - to get the video files into your PC do the following:

use Windows File Explorer to browse to the disc
Open the Video_TS folder.
Copy the VOB file(s) that start VTS_01_n.VOB to a folder on your computer, - n = a number starting at 1 - there may be more than 1 file and you may not see the .VOB file extension dplending on Explorers settings
You can then import these in numerical order into MEP for editing.
