On Magix Pro 16 Plus at the left bottom I can add tracks BUT HOW DO I REMOVE AN EMPTY TRACK

Go to File > Settings > Movie (or letter "E"). Here you can add or remove tracks, and do other things.

As far as I know, you can't define less than 4 tracks. Any empty tracks will not influence on your project.
