I have just upgrade from Movie Magix Edit Pro 15 to Movie Magix Edit Pro 17; after loading a dvd file (VOB) on the preview monitor, the video has a side thin view, its like looking at the video from the side.

The same video plays fine on Movie Magix Edit Pro preview monitor. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing

wrong? It's like looking at a piece of plywood from the front on 15, then turning it to the side on 17.

Might your problem be a mismatch between your clip and your project settings in 17?

Check the clip with a right click and go to 'Properties'. Check the project using the [E] key shorctut to 'Project/film' settings and try an aspect ratio match from 'Video setting:' menu.
