Possible to combine individual movies into a single movie?

I'm a new user of Movie Edit Pro 15.  I just imported about 25 GB worth of video from my JVC HDD camcorder.  PITA in that I had to transfer to my hard drive and then import file by file since I don't have a firewire.  I imported movie files as seperate movie within a single project.  I now realize that I should have attached each file to a single movie within a single project.  Is there a way I can do this after the fact?  As of now, I have about 80 movies along the bottom of the record window.  When I go tot he edit window I can only edit the last movie that was highlighted in the record window.  Thanks.

Hi there,

I think there are a whole lot of misconceptions about how the program works and what a typical editing workflow would look like in here. You might definitely want to sit down with the manual, the tutorial videos and the additional tutorial materials found in the workshops section of this site and try to become more familiar with the concepts and the program first. One thing right away: FireWire wouldn't help you in any way here. This is not a camera that requires capturing via FireWire. File-import is the way to go here. However, you don't have to load each file separately. After copying the files from the camera to your computer's HDD, you can use the file browser in the "Edit" stage of the program to display and batch-import many files at a time via a multiple selection (e.g. select all).

Good luck getting started with the program!

Try this:   From the record screen, click on the movie you wish to edit, then select the edit screen.  Your tracks should be available to edit.
