Prodad Vistascene installation

I've recently purchased Movie Edit Pro MX premium version but when I try to install ProDad Vistascene from the disk and insert the supplied serial no there is an error shown: " the entered code is erroneous and can't be used for this product"

On the order page, the MEP18 Premium version is available only as a download. I called the Customer Service number, and they confirmed this. Perhaps this is different in the U.S., where I am?
