Screen Capture

I have been running MAGIX Movies on DVD 7 for quite some time and when it works it works well but at other times, its a right pig and does not remember its settings.

As well as normal video's I like to record and edit steaming video's but the results are a bit hit and miss.

Sometimes you can get a perfect reproduction yet at other times without making any changes to the settings the video can be un-viewable i.e. the old diagonal warped screen which really gets me uptight because of the waste of time.  But rather than kick Magix to touch as I own several of their products, I thought I would give the 'Movie Edit Pro 17 Download Version' a try before, with regret, reluctantly moving onto another vendor but unfortunately I can't figure out how to do a streaming window 'Screen Capture' and I can't find a solution in the help file, so might be forced to look elsewhere.

ajer12,

No problem here, but I don't use it much so may have just happened to pick good examples to try!

Though called 'Capture' you start by clicking on the big red 'Record' button. I find a big section on screen capture in the help file. Only thought is that the feature is limllited to the 'PLUS' version of the program. Is that what you're trying?

Regards,

Carl

It might be the graphics hardware on your system as well. I am not sure; I haven't used the screen capture as often. I have recorded some YouTube and Vimeo, those came out better than I expected.

I use the Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus, and as Carl has stated the screen capture is a Plus version only feature.
