Settings - CPU or GPU - Video Delux Premium 2026

Hi everyone

I have a high end CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor

64gb Ram

Geforce RTX 3080ti GPU

Should I leave the settings within the program as is with the GPU or change it to my CPU? With these specs what would help the program run better?

@SHANE-KOHUT

Certainly for export, use the 3080 for MP4-type source files. My 3060 is probably 5 times faster than the CPU export. For other source file types such as AVI, I find using the iGPU in my Intel CPU sometimes yields faster exports.

Then again, I have read that CPU exports generally yield better-quality exports. I haven't noticed. 😉

If you use Neat Video, definitely use the GPU.

As far as timeline performance goes, I use the GPU for import and processing and things are pretty smooth. If you encounter any stuttering or delay, try the other options.
