Sound Forge 365 activating and registering

Last week I purchased the listed program and incorrectly entered the wrong email address. Support staff was able to rectify that challenge and I received an email with the details on downloading the program with serial number, etc. However, after I downloaded the program, I was unable to activate and open the program. I received an error message requesting I contact support staff. Haven't heard back and still unable to open and use the program.

The message I am receiving after installing the program is this:

"This serial number has already been registered to another email address. Please contact MAGIX support.

Error code: 24"

Any suggestions?

@VoiceDude Did you register it to the wrong e-mail address? A program can only be registered to one customer account. If there are now two different accounts (one with the correct e-mail address and one with the wrong e-mail address) you cannot register it again to the correct e-mail address.

You either have to go to Magix.com and login with the incorrect e-mail address and change it in the account settings or you'll have to contact support again and ask them to merge both accounts.

Hi, I have purchased the Vegas program and now cannot even open the program. First, a window pops up asking me to "Activate and Register immediately online". Once I click on that, another window pops up with the message: "This serial number has already been registered to another email address. Please contact MAGIX support. Error code: 24" To my knowledge, I have not used any other email address with Vegas. Please help! Thank You So Much in advance. - Darlene

Also, the MAGIX Service Center website - https://www.magix.com/de/support/mein-service-center/ - is in German, which I don't understand. (Very frustrated to not be able to use a program I have purchased!)

@Darlene-Lam You can change the language at the bottom of the page. Then you'll end up here https://www.magix.info/us/support/

There is also an official Vegas support forum at https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/ but usually only Magix customer support can help with wrong customer e-mail addresses. The problem is, support is currently very hard to reach because they introduced an AI bot and it looks like it doesn't work correctly and you cannot reach human staff members. But there are some developers active at the Vegas forum.

@SP. Thank You for your reply. What's frustrating is that I only have ONE email address registered with Vegas, so I truly do not understand the reason for the Error message. And you're right, I have sent Customer Support THREE emails over the course of 8 days and have not received any response from a real human being. This is not something I can fix on my end. Unbelievable!
