Sync audio and video files

I have a video file and a seperate audio file in wav format. Can I synch the wav file to my video or do I need to convert the audio to a different file format?

it depends on which MAGIX software you use - you can autosynchronize your recordings with MAGIX Video Pro X2 without any problems, no format conversion needed.
