The file format of *** can not be opened my magix movie editor pro 14 mushmush161 wrote on 2/17/2014, 8:59 PM for some reason it wont let me import a wmv file into the editor while letting me import other wmv files. The same file iport into windows movie editor just fine so its nto the file. Does anyone know how to fix the program? Back to post

Anyway, in either case, first thing I'd try is File > Settings > Reset program settings to default... Or close MEP, locate your INI file and delete or rename it and then restart MEP so that it can rewrite the deafult INI. Here on my XP (32-bit) PC in MEP 2014, the relevant INI is here: C:\Documents and Settings\Terry\Application Data\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium\Videodeluxe.ini Failing that, perhaps it's a codec issue.
