using timecodes to synchronize tracks

Hi,
I occasionally use Video Deluxe (upgraded to v2025) in multicam mode.
I was wondering if it was possible to synchronise tracks automatically using timecodes generated by products such as Tentacle, Deity TC-1, etc.
I know that DaVinci does it, but I I find Magic products much more convenient.
Thanks, Joël.

@Joel_

Hi

Video deluxe does not support syncing clips by timecode.

However if the videos have the same audio track they can be synchronised by:-

  1. Hold down the Ctrl key and select each video clip to be syncedobject.

  2. Right-click one of the main audio track and select Audio functions, Align other audio objects with this track.

Hi @johnebaker

Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, I know this option in audio functions, but I hoped to be able to use timecodes in Video Deluxe or Video Pro X.
This feature in a next release would be a trigger for me to upgrade.
Unfortunately it seems that the developpers mainly focus on AI tools.

Best regards,
Joël
