Vegas Pro 18 locking up have to close with task master

While doing a multi edit of a variety of video formats, photos, video, Vegas Pro 18 locks up and I have to close with task master. It does this on most multi format edits. Working on a Dell, BIOS ver/date 9/14/2015 Windows 10, processor Intel i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3601 Mhz, 4 cores, 32 GB memory. Thanks for your help
