Video/Audio out of sync

Every time I import a video file into Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus, the picture and sound are not syncronized. It is annoying because I have to spend hours trying to cut the video apart and manually strech, align and merge it again

before being imported they are both synced and aligned but its like it cant import it properly

Is there some way around or through this problem?

Hi,

What kind of video files are these (i.e. file type, codec) and where do they come from? This would be important to know to give any kind of suggestion as to the reasons for and solution to this problem. Thanks.

I have the same problem. Uncompressed .avi file (includes sound and video) is perfectly in sync before importing, but after that it goes more and more out of sync during the project. At the beginning it seems to be ok, but after half an hour, sound is almost 2 seconds too early (or picture too late).
