VOB file conversion

I'm trying to load some .VOB files into Magix Movie Edit Pro Silver, but it won't recognise them. What file type should I be looking to convert the .VOB files to so that Movie Edit will accept them? Thanks in anticipation. Phillip Coffey

I installed Quick Time Player on my computer and then Movie Magic could open VOB's, This is Freeware
