Equipment:
Dell Inspiron 580:- Windows 7 64 bit,Intel i5 processor, 1GB DDR3 graphics and 6 MB dual channel memory Camera:- Panasonic HDC-TM 700
Background:
I started with version 10.0.0.33 of Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus for editing AVCHD files from the above camera. "Fades" were jerky, "Clip Reverse" did not work and"Stabilisation" stalled when playing back and disc burning was OK. I then downloaded version 10.0.1.15 and the working of most functions improved in the playback except "clip stabilisation" and " Fade with extended timescale" . However since downloading version 10.0.10.2, there is no playback and the following message appears:
"NONE- cannot play this format
Reason:
A device ID has been used that is out of range for the system
I then uninstalled the programme and reinstalled the earlier version 10.0.0.33 from the disc and downloaded The AVCHD files from the camera under a new name. Still no playback with the same message as above even though the first download of the same files did work reasonably well before I installed update update version 10.0.10.2!
I have looked at the " Programme Settings and the "Output Device" box is blank. I have selected "Direct Sound"and "Primary Sound Driver" appears in the box and I have selected OK. However there is still no playback.
As the PC is new, I iuninstalled all resident programs, reinstalled Windows and and reinstalled Movie Edit Pro version 10.0.0.33 Still no playback with the same message as above and the the"Output Device" box blank
I am shure there must be a simple solution to this problem that I have overlooked. Please can anyone help?
