What probability exist that the Ai di Music Maker can create existing?

MrVortex wrote on 7/16/2025, 7:03 AM

Peace to you,

I wanted to try my version of Ai di Magix Music Maker 2024 and I chose 80s music, then I asked to use this pool to create a music, and as a joke my brother used Shazam to check if the recognition worked, I told him that it was impossible, and that he would surely be wrong, instead he found exact music, precise and identical apart from perhaps some effects, even the rhythm is the same. So you can make the music create a music and then sell it, just buy the right sales license?

addon: "Unfortunately, out of curiosity, I also tried other pools and I discovered that most have been recorded on sales platforms. Originality zero? When I buy the sales license I will have to do my external professional pool so as not to fall into the scandalous"

@MrVortex If you just use audio loops without changing them there is very high likelihood that somebody else already used the same loops and uploaded a song with it to streaming services. This is the case for all audio loops, not only Magix loops.

Generally, Music Maker's Song Maker just combines audio loops while following a certain pattern logic. It does not create music completely from scratch.

HI

. . . . just buy the right sales license? . . . .

Do note there is no differentiation that indicates a Soundpool is commercially licenced and others are not - they are the same soundpools, you must retain copies of the licences for those you purchase.

. . . . found exact music, precise and identical apart from perhaps some effects, even the rhythm is the same. So you can make the music create a music and then sell it . . .

This area is a minefield:

Copyright of Soundpool loops is retained by Magix - you and other users of those loops only have licences to use them within the terms and conditions of the appropriate licences.

Anyone claiming that you have copied a piece of their work, ie have used the same loop or loops cannot claim copyright on that alone.

There have been many ‘copyright’ claims on music eg on Youtube, Soundcloud etc from ‘scrapers’ – identities specifically looking for music to claim a copyright on and demanding a fee for compensation or to allow the creator to continue having the music available.

Certain organisations, which are used by musicians to manage copyright, similarly cannot claim copyright protection down to the level of individual loops - only on complete works or identifiable signature riffs etc, created by the musician.

To avoid any claims completely you would have to create an 'original work' by writing the music and lyrics, play the built in Instruments or writing the notes in the MIDI Editor, and/or record yourself, performing on instrument(s) eg guitar, or singing - and no Soundpool loops.

Exactly, if I generate a son-in-law with '80 at a timeless I had 98% of repeatability of the written song, can I not claim the use of the similar loop for my music or counteract the use to advertise on youtube of the program as often do? it's a problem if it's very similar to the original, but they're loop it's normal that the rhythm is that (btm) I can change the battery sharp, but the weather won't ruin the piece, I would have to perform a personal tool (and it's already complicated so) and then adapt it to the loop (who writes music knows how much it costs if you don't have a good mug)

No, neither can they for the reasons stated in my previous post from the line: This area is a minefield: onwards

You can put in a report to Youtube regarding claims/dispute of Copyright using language such as:

Please release this copyright claim as I have acquired the audio content is from from MAGIX produced Soundpool Loops.

Copyright of Soundpool loops is retained by Magix, users of those loops have a non-exclusive licence to use them within the terms and conditions of the appropriate licences.

@MrVortex If you want create something more random, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the Song Maker and set the number of Soundpools to 8 and the AI influence to low. Then enable 8 Soundpools of your choice and create a song

After the song is created it usually goes all over the place. To correct that select all loops on all tracks with CTRL and A. Next, make a right click on the the loops and select Pitch and Tempo > Set Pitch > Set X Pitch. This should make the pitches of all loops nearly identical. It will take a while, so wait a minute

Next, make sure that View > Arranger > Show pitch ranges is enabled so you can see the greyish pitch bar at the top of the arrangement. After making all loops the same pitch, the pitch bar should go uninterrupted over the complete song instead of just a single bar. Click on the pitch bar and select min > c. This will set all loops to C minor. Usually, the result will now sound pretty coherent. After that, you can add your personal touches to the song (your own vocals, chord changes, other loops and a lot of effects or VST instruments etc.). The more you make the song your own, the more likely it is that you won't get automated copyright problems.

If you want to create more templates yourself please read the following thread completely: https://www.magix.info/us/forum/song-maker-ai-templates-and-functions--1283690/ and check out the tool that @Fonzy created at http://enkisoft.nhely.hu/index.html

@MrVortex If you want to transform loops to something more original I also highly recommend this VST plugin:

https://www.bigfishaudio.com/momentum.html

This VST plugin will allow you to load audio files. But don't use the Magix loops file format mxcogg from Loops Unlimited, because these loops can only be read by Music Maker itself, so export them to WAV first.

Momentum will allow you to add a lot of effects and then you can play loops with your keyboard.
