what setting must i use to get my videos not to be choppy during dvd playback on 1980 by 1080 LCD Screen

My videos and are not sharp during dvd playback mostly on big tv screen eg this lates big LCD , is there settings that i must apply to get that right. I am using Movie Edit Pro 15 , quality of dvd during playback is 100% on old tv but it becomes sluggish when the same dvd is played big LCD screens

please assist with the settings

Hi,

This normal new technology need more quality like HD. DV quality is good up to 40 inches TV check this:

VHS 640 x 480 pixels

DV 720 x 520 pixels

HD lite 1280 x 720

HD normal 1920 x 1080 pixels.

You cannot generate more quality than the video source this is the first rule.

Hi,

You must understand that you have in hand a DV (Digital video) quality is normal if you output on screen bigger than 100cm this video is grainy more the screen is big more you realise that lack quality. The reason that HD is the size is 1920 x 1080 your size is 720 x 520 on small screen you have enough quality on big screen you lack quality.
