I downloaded the Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus Trial, but I haven't got a lot of my own video to play with to see what it can do.
Where can I get the contents of the __Demo folder to see what MEP 17 is capable of?
I've downloaded the Tutorial movies, but while they're interesting to watch, I'd like to play with some actual features.
The Help>Quick Start suggests opening the __Demo folder, but it isn't present with the download Trial.
Can I get this from anywhere else?

Go to 'Help' >> 'Free download...' to get stacks of stuff including the demo project, menu templates and other goddies.
Even if you don't have much material you can still play. You'll learn best by doing. MEP is a 'non-destructive' editor so cut, crop, and chop to your heart's content -- your original clips and images remain unchanged. (But always have backups anyway for HD crashes! :-)

All you get are "Introductory Videos", which consists of 'Tutorial and Mini-clips"
I guess they are limiting what you can do with the Trial Download version, but rather than spend ages seeing what it can do, I'd like to see some of the whizzy features and mess about with them.
So, my question remains: Can I get the contents of the __Demo folder anywhere? Could someone upload it to megaupload or something?
Can't imagine it contains anything you could use with a program other than MEP 17.
Then again, having seen all the complains about MEP 17 from users going back a far as MEP 12, maybe I shouldn't bother.
What's the last good version they released? 14 seems to be the general consensus.
