i am wandering how may i write in Persian or Arabic in movie edit 17 plus edit title box. i tried Persian letters but it changes their direction in edit title ( words goes from left to right instead of from right to left side and are backward too)

A similar question came up some time ago in the old Magix user group. I found this which may help:
The solution: go to Windows XP's control panel "Date, Time,
Language and Regional Options",
then to "Regional Language Options" -> "Advanced" tab.
You should see "Language for non-Uicode programs" title.
Under "Select a language to match the language version of your
non-Unicode programs ...". I had to chose "Bulgarian".
NOTE: as it is written - this setting will not affect your
Unicode programs (Windows, MS Word etc.). But it will enable Movie
Edit Pro to allow you to enter different font/non-Unicode.
Also a possibly easier work-around would be to write your title and then use 'Effects' >> 'Movement effects' >> 'Rotation /Mirror' to flip them. This gave me right to left reversed English display. As text can still be edited you could do the reversal once and then save that title as a template for further use.
