OK, I'll admit right up front, I got a bit carried away with this one.  Hence the epic length, for me anyway.  Based on an old one I did and lost in a hard drive failure a while ago.  Piano led, with a simple, central theme, that it returns to several times.  Upright Bass does make it back in on this, but isn't so dominant as I tend to let it become.

It's supposed to represent how whatever troubles we go through, if we're lucky home is always there for us as refuge.  Yet even that changes to become something else over time.  Yes, I know.  Bit deep for me.  One too many coffees, maybe?

All midi work, as usual.  I've come to love those babies.

Thanks for wading through it, those of you who make it.

I am pleased that in this period the compositional ideas out there for you.
spaces for the various styles, while maintaining your unique style.
Then also it is known a continuous sound research that I appreciate very much
still a very good quality piece

Very well done! A real "Opus magnum" anyhow. The composition is never boring, not for a second. Very good indeed, in the more classical parts as well as in the more experimental ones.

Epic length, huh?

Already said before - this song doen't get boring at any time. The piano theme is great and once the strings join in, this becomes a fantastic listening experience.

The bass is great in conjunction with the later synths.

All in all another piece of art. Splendid. Favorited (didn't think so, eh? I am diverse, my friend!)

Very, very nice.

Have a great weekend, Norbert

piano central theme sounds familiar ... seems so to me ...

mournful, mysterious, beautiful sounds, well arranged, good composition ...

... but not really a "masterpiece" ...

I've made it to wade through and didn't regret it. Very well done!

Nice piece here. It's good to get "carried away" --- let the muses find you and don't let up. Soundtrack material here for sure. The picture for this track on your Media page attracted me to listen in, the central theme build-up forged my path to the finale. I like the T.Monk-oriented transitions, mysterious and coming to fruition.
