Haunted Castle

All original, composed with synth. I got the idea for this music about two or three years ago. The acoustic guitars and trumpets seemed to have a medieval sound, but there is also an element of fear or darkness. That is why it's called "Haunted Castle".

I could not decide if I should add vocals to this song, so I will let the listeners decide. Here it is without vocals. If you think it would be better with vocals, I will add some.

I found the picture on google.

Thanks for listening!

Yes it is a very original music, i like, but from 0'20 example, I find the mix that "deaf". The sound appears in the "padding". (Ouate in French, and I'm sure this is not my listening material) I think you should mix each instruments separately, or change the bass and make it more snapping. I hope you take my comments as positive criticism and advice. Good weekend.

I think the idea and the arrangements very good and original, its just missing a little more of depth, perhaps taking out some of the synth instruments would make it real (not computerized). once you do so, you will be able to focus on the remaining insterument's final mix.

also it doesnt give the feeling of fear or darkness, on the contrary, i found it lively!!!

and yes definately you should add lyrics but picking the correct subject is the key.

well done, good work.

Hi,

I like the touch medieval you have joined the music. Add lyrics would give a more realistic effect

A medieval beginnig, soon broken throuh the "modern" beat...

The idea seems very good but the instrumentation is... see below....

And why shouldn´t they have danced orgiastic in the ancient times?...

Waiting for another and more medieval variation of this piece of music...

For me voices and lyrics are not necessary....

Franz

Send pleas the remixed and remastert version...

I find the ghosts of the castles very entertaining, lively and fun loving..for the vocals I would say that they may not be required. A crisp bass line will add to the flavour...

I really like the sound - its like  a lively dance!

I must say its not very dark for me but

a little orgiastic... nice....

Very good!!

Well , and no, no vocals for me....

not this time?

Not so dark. What about Minstrelrock; love it.

Hi

a kind of medieval rock, i like that. During listening there was a scene running down in my thoughts. Knights were in preparation for the great divide, the last battle.

You don`t need to add vocals. In my opinion vocals could destroy the mood of that track.

You are a good keyboard player. Correct me if I am wrong, but I say "keyboard" because I doubt that you are adjusting the Attack,Sustain,Decay, and Release of a sine wave from a synth for all sounds used on this track. It is a very good composition never-the-less.

Wonderful synth atmosphere !!! ciao da sandro

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
