@vameng-yang

Having checked the details of what is included in a new purchase of MEP Premium, I see no information regarding anything to do with Titler Pro 6, so where did you read the information that this was included in the upgrade?

As a matter of information, if you upgraded to the latest version of MEP (which variant, by the way, Basic, Plus or Premium?) because your update service was still valid, i.e. the upgrade was "free", any "additional content" is not available to you. Such content is limited to purchasers who buy the upgrade.

I purchased the premium version, that should include titler 6 in the update.

@vameng-yang

Where do you see that NB Titler Pro is supposed to be included with an upgrade to MEP Premium?

I don't see anywhere in the adverts to indicate that it's included with MEP Premium, but I do see it in the Version Comparison chart. I think that Magix may have been mistaken, but since it's there....

Hi

. . . . I recently upgraded my MEP and unable to obtain the titler 6 free content. . . . .

Was the upgrade to 2020 if not which version what version number is MEP - see under Help, About in the program?

Correction:

The current version MEP 2020 v 19.0.1.18 does indeed include NewBlue Titler Pro 6

If the version is not MEP 2020 then do you mean New Blue Titler EX if so then check under the Effects tab as shown below

So you have to renew your MEP premium to receive the titler pro 6? My MEP premium is not outdated until December 2019; that means I should receive the Titler Pro 6 with the new update? Or is this only limited to new purchases even though your yearly MEP premium subscription has not lapsed.

If so, then Magix should include all the updates to any new MEP premium level content as we are subscribed to their yearly plan. What's the point of subscribing to the yearly MEP premium plan if your not receiving any of the new contents (such as titler 6) associated and included with the premium plan purchase.

IIRC, there was a post recently from Magix on this specific question, I think it referred to a different product and as yet I cannot find the post, however the gist of it was that the subscription covers new 'in house' features and functionality, however new 3rd party 'addons', eg NB Titler Pro 6, that come with a new version are only available to new purchasers.

Here is a link to the thread of VPX11 and Titler Pro 6. I think the statement you recall might have been referenced in that thread as a support reply from Magix

However I do not think it has been stated on any of the pages of Magix providing information of products or Update Service.

As I stated above, a PM from a Magix employee or a reply in a sales/support request does not invalidate the actual information provided from Magix on their public website for the relevant product and services.

My advice remains to @vameng-yang

based on personal experience.

@terrypin regarding the price of Premium version being less than Plus is simply a very good offer. The update price for Premium is only £10 less new price, usually the update is half the price approx. If I were to by MEP now, there is now question what version to buy as Premium is less than Plus and only £10 more than Basic. For comparison Plus version is $90 for new and £50 for update/upgrade (or actually a penny less).

Have to agree with you on that one - if you click the upgrade option the information I previous posted, after correction by yourself, once again thanks for pointing the error out, does not change.

I would have expected it to detail what was included (or not).

It has always been depicted that way since I started MEP with its upgrade policy. Maybe that is the thread I started when I first upgraded and felt the same way. I think it further states somewhere now that some of the presently added bundles have limited shelf lives of two years from the date of purchase. I may be wrong but I have a distinct memory (whether true or false) of reading that on one of the info pages.
