  [Solved] Vegas Pro 23 won't start up...

  I am now far too wary to pronounce, "... peace in our time." Therefore, I will only announce that started VPX16 after using that uninstaller and there was no popup. Thanks @AAProds

  How to use the Backgrounds objects?
  The project is 16:9 , I have few jpg's not alike so I want to use a 16:9 background from the templates, say gradient 3. When clicked this pops If I "Apply", the BG is mixed with the jpg I couldn't find the way to set it to 16:9 as true BG to the XY

  @William-Yellin Yeah, because it installs the same old audio driver as SFAS 16. Read the link @rraud posted and this should solve your problem.

  @Myu I think ARA is broken in SF16. I had the same experience. You can try the following: install the free demo version of SF18 and copy and paste and overwrite the following files from the SF18 folder into the SF16

  And now it is working in SF16. I have no idea how it is working now, but wasn't a second ago. My best guess is installing and trying SF18 fixed/changed something so it can work now. Anyway, thanks for the help and ideas.

  @AAProds Hi Al VPX 16 was very stable for me, as is 17, with which I had an issue caused by a buggy Windows update, was fine again after removal of the update and a repair, and the NVidia issue. John EB
