@DesertSweeper Hmm, maybe it was showing Video Pro X17? There is currently a redesign sale on Magix.com. You can disable the pop-ups. Usually the easiest way is to uninstall the Magix Update Notifier.

Thanks for the update. As I wrote, I've always been suspect of buyouts. But with the sale of several software to Boris FX, I really, really do hope that things here will improve for the better.

ACID has indeed been acquired by BORIS (along with SoundForge and Vegas), and Boris has confirmed via email to several US users that they are working on a whole host of major updates! ACID PRO 2026 is back!

@John-Murray8461 Microsoft delivered some broken Windows updates over the last couple of weeks. This includes broken Visual C++ Redistributables and broken MIDI 2.0 integration. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the cause of Sound Forge no longer
