RE: Video Deluxe 2026 Keeps Hanging
@Skyline_UK my system may not be man enough in terms of graphics That is most likely the crux of your problem. As such, it is highly unlikely that simply updating your NVidia drivers will substantially help. As @johnebaker writes, your NVidia GPU

RE: photostory Deluxe 2026 - audio - missing codex
@czechwarmblood Can we clarify something? Is it only on playback of the exported file(s) that you receive the message that a codec is missing? And is the problem present in both the DVD and mp4 exports, or only the latter? If it is only the mp4,

    RE: MP3 conversion glitches
@Paul-Fegan In our experience it's not a good idea to edit MP3 files. They are already lossy compressed, this means they are missing data compared to the original WAV files, and they are read out in frames of data instead of individual samples,

@AAProds Cheers Andy, you must have something on your system that I don't have on my laptop. I have nothing out of the ordinary I don't think - MPC-HC64, Lagarith, HuffYuv, UT Video Codec. Maybe a little less common is Hauppauge WinTV v10 and LAV

@dan_lachance Hi Dan. I notice you are running three video tracks. Do they all contain and use the audio in the project? If so I personally find that reducing the amount of buffers but increasing the sampling rates helps with smoothing out playback

Objects in timeline not playing back video but plays back sound
Movie Studio 2024 Platinum I created a 7 Hour and 30 minute timeline. I was intending to export it in smaller chunks, but I was curious to attempt to export it as a whole. Since the export was taking way too long, I canceled the export. I started to

@David-Rees Hi I can replicate this using the steps you have given, however it does beg the question why are you doing this? Increasing the bit depth from 16 to 24, 32 or 64 bit does not gain anything in dynamic range or compensate for editing

Re your comment above, I have another problem. The Sony DVD-R disk I burned, that I mentioned above, the AVCHD, doesn't play back on my home BlueRay player. I get the main menu screen with the two story lines switchable and it looks great in HD.
