Sound Forge Audio Studio works incorrect with VST3 plugins

I updated my Sound Forge Audio Studio 14 to version 17 yesterday. I did this because version 14 was not working correctly with 45 out of 170 of my VST3 plugins. For example:- Melda Dynamic EQ: the processed file is 40 ms longer than the original;-

@SP. No mate......everything back as it was before the issue started. I have to admit, I still get that little anxiety moment every time I change out a VST but, so far, everything seems back normal.

Butch Vig Vocal Plug-in can't be loaded into plug-in chain

waves 16 plugins cannot be added to chain

hi, upgraded to waves 16 and when try dragging or adding vst 3 plugins to chain nothing happens? no issues in reaper or ableton any suggestions how to fix would be welcome, already tried force rebuild plugins

@Tinus72 My guess is that these plugins are simply not compatible because Acid is too old. You'll likely need a plug-in chainer like Plogue Bidule or DDMF Metaplugin as a workaround. You first load the plugin chainer as a VST and then load the Waves

I have just checked both SF Pro 18 and SFAS 17 with the scan files from SF Pro.My conclusions are as follows.My old SFAS 14 worked better with VST3 plugins than the new versions of SF. I found the same errors. Also, some of the plugins that worked

Thanks for the reply Yep have done that......didn't work. I have removed all of the 3rd party VSTs and the programme seems to function normally with just Magix own instruments and FX.....so I'm going to re-install the 3rd party stuff one at a time

Hello @smthng, When you install MMM2026, you'll have the option to install it alongside MMM2025. You can then work in either MM2025 or MMM2026. As far as I can tell, all MMM2025 VSTs and plugins work in MMM2026. Best regards,Rob

@Reyfox @spuddy13 Hi. MMS and VPX do not support vst3 unless you wish to use it in Stand alone mode which would mean having to sync the audio back into the video. You would need a supporting host program like Vegas Pro to use within an NLE video
