RE: with MEP15 can you possibly use a green screen for special effects? and if so how.
wiseguy, The tutorial John found is excellent for getting the best possible results but I'd suggest in addition a simple 'suck it and see' approach to get you started with MEP. You can even try it with a couple of still images. Use timeline

RE: how to up date the magix 17 hd plus from 10.0.0102 to 10.0.0114
DCA7, Should be no more than top menu 'Help' >> 'Online update...' and going through the prompts. You need to have your program registered and should get either a link to the most recent patch or a message that your version is up to

RE: Can someone tell me the best tutorials available for understanding the basics of Movie Edit Pro 17?
chduke, Some additions to john-auvil's suggestions: 1. Yes, you can import directly from a camera seen as an external drive, but if later on you load that project into MEP it will look for the clip in its original camera location. You

RE: How Merge to merge two projects onto the timeline
gibblyweeds, This is easy once you get used to the somewhat round-about method and the oft confusing uses of the terms 'movie' and 'project': A movie is what you can see on the timeline -- a project can contain one or more

RE: How to turn lots of movie files into one..
Clive, If your clips are all one after another on one line eg [a][b][c] (not stacked up one above the other on different tracks) the only thing I can think of is that you inadvertently have a 'range' set that only covers one clip.

Parry, Simply drag the image file onto the timeline! There is an option to change the default length under program settings or you can drag an edge in or out. There are lots of options: On its own the picture will fill the

RE: Magix will not recognize my burner.
I had exactly the same problem, in MEP14, went to burn to a DVD, the DVD window was blank. MEP14 came out a few years ago, and wouldn't have today's burners, so it was necessary to go to this site and find the burner updates. There were

RE: Can you make photos move across the screen?
If version Pro 14 has the “keyframe” feature then you can. (Or there may even be a different way in that version.) I can’t really navigate you to where the settings are though as I have version Pro 15 Plus and they may not be the same. As such, I

RE: How can the videos run smoother?
To my knowledge there is no “file conversion” tool with Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus. However, you could just load the video and then immediately export it as an MPG. File > Export movie > Video as MPEG. But as John mentioned, that’s not really

RE: What kind of Notebook needed while I use Simplitude?
First: it's Samplitude, might come in handy when you need to purchase the programme ;-) Any notebook will do. I run Samplitude 15 on an old IBM T43 when I'm on vacation - 1 Ghz, 2GB RAM, XP - and it runs nicely. Timekillers are when you need to

Thanks for clarifying that for us, NT! That is an important distinction I was not yet aware of. Now I am. My previous misleading response has been deleted. Still, a MIDI controller is handy to have on-hand for use with other MIDI hardware and

Hi, Not sure what the problem you were experiencing was about. Sounds like it was possibly just of temporary nature. Just quickly two points: You can see how much space you have used right after logging into your Website Maker "Control Center".

RE: AVI editing problem...
Hi, AVI is a container format an can hold many different types of codecs for the actual video (and audio) encoding. You probably imported material in a reasonably compressed format (e.g. Motion JPEG) and exported to a completely different codec,

I have an SDR-S26 which produces 704x576 MPEG files too. As well the 16:9 ratio not always being recognised properly, I got thin black padding lines at the sides of my movie. I've fixed both of these things and speeded up my workflow with a handy

RE: clicking sounds at regular intervals.
